Summary: What's your lucky number?

Lyla Wilder is done being the shy, chemistry nerd extraordinaire. While every other college student is out having fun, Lyla is studying. With her cat. Well, she's played it "safe" quite enough, thank you. So she creates a "College Bucket List"―with item #7 being a night of uninhibited, mind-blowing sex...

But she needs some help from her man-whore best friend.

Hockey player Beck Davenport thought Lyla's transformation would be subtle. Man, was he wrong. With every item she ticks off, Beck finds himself growing seriously hot for his sweet, brainiac best friend. And if he's not careful, he'll end up risking their friendship in order to convince Lyla that he might just be her lucky #7...

My thoughts:

Strengths : It was super cute. If you're looking for a steamy romance, then I definitely recommend this book. The story will make you swoon and the main character is quite relatable. It's a really addicting story and a very quick read. I can see this being a great book to get out of a reading slump or a book hangover.

Weaknesses : The story is very predictable. It was my first new adult novel so it was quite different from what I usually read, but I feel like when I'll read more of this genre, this is gonna be the kind of story that I'll often see. It didn't feel unique. (Also, the end is extremely cheesy so if cheesy bothers you then this is not for you, but I like cheesy romance so it worked for me.)

Overall: Like I said, this was my first new adult novel so it was a different read, but from what I've heard about new adult, this doesn't seem like a unique story to me. "Girl falls in love with best friend even if she knows she shouldn't" : typical. It was still very fun to read it, I read it in a day. It gave me lots of feels and it was perfect since I was craving romance. I do recommend that you pick it up if it seems interesting to you.
